At home with Christopher Bastin
I'm not the most "bohochica" type you can find in the interior industry, I'm not. I do not get peace of mind if a home is too creative and crazy, or if the furniture so scrapes that they are bound to broken. But, unfortunately, I feel the same "visual discomforts" if it's all for stereotyping and perfectly organized too. Perhaps that's why these pictures from Gant's former Creative Director Christopher Bastin's home made a strings with me when I flipped past them in Åhlén's latest customer magazine. Eclectic with a touch of funkis? The pictures inspire me to dare a little bit more in my square design day. Some tips to bring along? Odd paintings and vintage-looking lights can do a lot to unlock and create a more unique feel at home.
