An apprentice learns a great responsibility and targeted achievements of a particular trade or art. Together with learning trade or art, the apprentice must familiarize themselves with the issues or issues that may arise when performing this art or trade, and deal with them accordingly. Learning can be physical or mentally exhausting and demanding.
Merriam-Webster defines an apprentice as someone "the bottom of the deal to earn another for a prescribed period of time to learn an art or trade." It is also stated that an apprentice is "the one who learns through practical experience with a professional worker in a trade, art or call." For this reason, one can say the apprentice serves the master until she becomes perfect herself.
The novice in this role can offer attributes that will contribute to the success of apprenticeship education. He or she is flexible and can show a positive work ethic. The lesson should show honesty and trustworthiness, and deal with the public politely and respectfully. In some professions, the apprenticeship must be culturally aware of a mixed group of customers.
The apprenticeship may be required to work during a scheduled block of time when the master shows on-the-job training for apprenticeship. When the apprentice has observed the master at work, the master then requires him to complete some of the same tasks of art or trade. This may require some assessment for the apprentice to prove itself. In his role as apprentice, he may be required to log daily tasks and prepare a schedule for performing such tasks.
In any given trade or art, the apprentice is able to drive the appropriate equipment and machinery. She is a team builder and has customer service and public interaction. In her apprenticeship, she shows verbal communication and ability to listen.
Apprentice wages vary greatly, as there are many professions and art that have apprenticeship programs. In general, the apprentice should earn a portion of the salary the master would earn. The master and apprenticeship can agree on a set of salary or the master can determine the salary to offer the apprentice. The salary can be paid per hour, per on-the-job training session or for the time of apprenticeship.
